Recommended Products – Scott Archery - October 10, 2009
Added by: Ken Lenz

If you hunt and fish as much as we do here at IdahoSportsman.com, you will probably go through just about every brand name product out there for whatever you are perusing at the time. Every once in a while a product company just stands out among the rest.

Scott Archery Products is this year’s product company that stands out for us. We use Scott releases exclusively after using several other brands that either failed in the field or produced poor shooting form.

Bid “D” and I were archery elk hunting this year and found that the elk during this unusually hot September, were taking refuge in small thick trees where the only shot you are going to get would be measured in feet not yards. After trekking through this mess for several days Big “D” noticed his trigger for his “Little Goose” release had fell out. We tried everything we could come up with to make it work for the rest of the season.

After Season we returned home and we decided to contact Scott Archery to find out where we could purchase another trigger, I simply emailed them with the question and within minutes they had already responded with the reply, “Just email us your address and we will send you a new trigger”.

Now I know this is a very small fix to our dilemma, but it more than impressed us, and if anyone would ask me what release would work best for them, I wouldn’t even hesitate to recommend a Scott.

After all I have a Scott “Mongoose” release that I have been using, without any problems, for 8 years  now and will not replace it unless it breaks.

We say... Buy a Scott
